As the manufacturer of the real ballistic shields, Integris Composites was asked to fabricate a replica shield - to be visually identical to the real shields - and we were honored to answer the call. Our expert colleagues in design and production fabricated this replica shield using all the same materials on the exterior, with alternative non-ballistic materials on the inside.
Integris has been supplying ballistic shields and other protective equipment to the RAID, the BRI, the GIGN, the Police Nationale, the Gendarmerie Nationale, other police forces and the Ministry of the Interior for many years. Our shields in service with Law Enforcement in France and throughout Europe include a broad spectrum of handheld shields, such as the one replicated here, as well as trolley-mounted shields for approach. Combining our experience and expertise, along with some technological breakthroughs, we have recently launched our new “make your shield” concept – allowing customers to procure a tailor-made handheld shield solution, even in small quantities, with a shorter lead time and a cost closer to that of larger series.
Integris Composites also manufactures ballistic plates for personnel, as well as various ballistic protection solutions for land vehicles, sea vehicles, helicopters, and even complex shapes such as optronic balls and radomes. We are also a proud partner of the Ministère de la Défense, among others.
